Sally has been sculpting since 2002, while completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts & Design (Sculpture) from Adelaide College of the Arts and a Graduate Diploma of Design (Industrial Design) from Uni SA. Working mostly in stone, bronze and ceramic she explores her love of natural and ephemeral forms.
Sally has been awarded several prizes in the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize and Brighton Jetty Classic Sculptures. In 2012, Sally received Arts SA and Helpmann Academy grants to travel to Pietrasanta, Italy to undertake marble carving tuition and practice. She has permanent stone sculptures on the Wirranendi Interpretive Trail in Adelaide’s West Park Lands and “Liquid” and “Dining with the Locals” in Crystal Lake Sculpture Park in Macclesfield.
