SILVIO DOES IT AGAIN!
Macclesfield, nestling in the southern hills area, will soon be host to an important and unique artistic event.
“Sculptors @ Crystal Lake” will feature 12 Australian sculptors working with Macclesfield marble, donated by the late Mr Bert Davis, to create sculptures which can be commissioned by individuals, communities, businesses and Councils. Working with well-known Artistic Director, Silvio Apponyi, these established or emerging artists will display their artistic talents each day of the event.
South Australians and visitors are invited to participate in this family-friendly experience.
The 9 day event from 11th to 19th April 2015 will take place in beautiful Crystal Lake Park – a tranquil natural reserve traversed by the Angas River. The historic park was well known to previous generations of South Australians who came to swim in the Crystal Lake Swimming Pool or later, to stay at the Camp sited next to the pool.

The Bert Davis Inaugural Spoken Word Awards: entries are invited from adults and young people.
